CRC Jaipur Celebrates International Yoga Day 2025 under the Nationwide Initiative “Yogsangam”

    Date: June 21, 2025
    Location: CRC Jaipur

Under the nationwide initiative “Yogsangam”, the
Composite Regional Centre for Skill Development, Rehabilitation, and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (CRC Jaipur),
functioning under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India,
organized a grand celebration of International Yoga Day 2025 with enthusiasm, dedication, and inclusive participation.

The event was organized in collaboration with the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, Jaipur
and Apna Ghar Sanstha. It formed part of a historic attempt to set a
world record by conducting yoga sessions simultaneously at more than
10,000 locations across the country. The initiative aimed to spread a powerful message of
national unity, social inclusion, and global harmony.

At the CRC Jaipur campus, around 150 participants actively took part in the program,
including children with special needs, their parents, underprivileged women, residents of
mental health care homes, and CRC officials and staff members.
A certified yoga instructor conducted the session, tailoring the asanas and postures
to suit the physical and mental abilities of the participants, ensuring an inclusive and enjoyable experience for all.

The event began with a warm welcome speech by Mr. Neeraj Madhukar, Director of CRC Jaipur,
who highlighted the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of yoga and described it as a
powerful medium for the empowerment of persons with disabilities.
He emphasized that yoga is not only a tool for health and well-being but also a key contributor to
social inclusion and the improvement of quality of life.

Following this, Mr. Ravikant shared his thoughts, focusing on the importance of
holistic health and maintaining a balanced lifestyle through yoga.

The program concluded with the distribution of light refreshments to all participants,
fostering a spirit of community bonding and mutual engagement.

Through its active participation in “Yogsangam”, CRC Jaipur contributed meaningfully
to this nationwide health awareness campaign and successfully spread the universal message of yoga —
    peace, unity, and well-being.
