    Introduction

    Composite Regional Centre (CRC), Jaipur, functions under the administrative control of
    PDUNIPPD New Delhi, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan),
    Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.
    Established to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to persons with disabilities (PwDs),
    CRC Jaipur is committed to empowering individuals through specialized services, education, and
    community-based initiatives.

    CRC Jaipur, functioning since April 2024, is an initiative of the Department of Empowerment of
    Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.
    Initially, the Centre operated under the administrative control of the
    National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities (NIEPVD), Dehradun.
    Since 2nd May 2019, it is under the administrative control of
    Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya National Institute for Persons with Physical Disabilities (PDUNIPPD), New Delhi.

    The Centre is committed to fostering sustainable rehabilitation strategies to enhance the quality of life
    and overall well-being of persons with disabilities (PwDs). CRC Jaipur strives to empower Divyangjan by
    helping them realise their fullest potential and enabling their equal participation in all spheres of life.

    The primary objective of CRC Jaipur is to build infrastructure and develop human resources to provide
    need-based, community-oriented services to persons with disabilities, particularly in Rajasthan.
    It acts as a nodal resource centre offering a wide range of services including:

    • Speech, Language & Audiology
    • Special Education & Inclusive Support

    • Outreach & Awareness Activities
    • Human Resource Development (HRD) & Capacity Building
    • Research & Development (R&D)
    • Distribution of Assistive Devices under ADIP and Rashtriya Vayoshri Schemes through PMDK

    The Centre regularly organizes training programs for parents, caregivers, professionals, and other
    stakeholders engaged in the disability sector. We are continuously striving to extend our reach to
    the unreached populations and assist them in accessing various government schemes and entitlements.
